Everything except equipment training (you should have this one covered by your vendor). More specifically, here are the subjects you can choose from:
- The fleet & vehicle graphics market - what drive the demand?
- Software: Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop basic concepts and tools.
- Design tools - Software, templates, clip and images resources. (demonstration and samples).
- Pre Design - Designing in 2D for 3D world, proper measuring technique, creating custom outlines
- Vehicle Design Basics - Color coordination, image & fonts selection, positioning, designing for easy install.
- Design - Understanding scaling and resampling (hands-on exercise), color management (basic), masking in PhotoShop (hands-on exercise), workspace preparations (hands-on exercise), working with layers, applying graphics to a template (hands-on exercise), Getting organized: Working in a group.
- Post design - Preparing customer’s proposal and installer’s “blue-print”, graphics tiling techniques, partial wrap and contour cutting.
- Pre Installation - Choosing the proper media and advantages/disadvantage of each, installation tools and supplies.
- Marketing - Who buy vehicle wrap and where are they? how to sell vehicle wrap in good or bad economy?
- Installation - Surface preparation, performing "dry-run", vinyl installation techniques, finish touch.
